AndroidDevCamp Set

DALLAS -- SpringStage, a nationwide startup network, and Big in Japan, the developer of the ShopSavvy(TM) application for Google Android phones, are joining forces to present the first AndroidDevCamp in Dallas this Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"October 25 is the first Saturday after the release of the first Android phone, the T-Mobile G1,” said Alexander Muse, a co-founder of both SpringStage and Big in Japan. "So it's the perfect time for developers to learn about the open-source Android platform and to begin working on new applications for it. The power of Android isn't grounded in a particular carrier or handset maker; instead, the power of Android comes from you -- the developer.”
