MILPITAS, Calif. -- Aperto® Networks, builder of the world’s most advanced carrier-grade and cost-effective WiMAX base stations and subscriber units, announced today at the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas that its PacketMAX solution now supports the 3.65 GHz and 4.9 GHz frequency bands for delivering broadband wireless services in the United States. As a result, Aperto’s Fixed WiMAX solution now incorporates support for 5.8 GHz, 5.4 GHz, 5.1 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 3.65 GHz, 3.5 GHz, and 3.3 GHz bands. Additionally, the company’s Mobile WiMAX solution supports 2.3 GHz, 2.5 GHz, 3.3 GHz, 3.5 GHz and 3.8 GHz. PacketMAX offers the widest frequency support in the WiMAX ecosystem globally.
