NEWBURY, U.K. -- Huawei Technologies ("Huawei"), a leader in
providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators
around the world, today announced that it has been awarded Vodafone's
Outstanding Performance Award at Vodafone's second annual Global Supplier
Conference.
Vodafone presented supplier performance awards to three of its key
suppliers. Huawei won the award in recognition of its delivery of highly
competitive products and services to Vodafone across the group's network as
well as in recognition of its spirit of strategic partnership with the
operator. Vodafone measures supplier performance regularly as supplier
performance management and the delivery of continuous improvement is a key
component of Vodafone's supply chain strategy

Outstanding Performance Award by Vodafone. The award recognises Huawei's
commitment to providing industry-leading products and solutions, rapid
response as well as outstanding delivery," said Mr. William Xu, President of
Huawei Europe. "Huawei is focused on customer-oriented innovation to create
solutions, products and services that provide long-term value for our
customers to help them realize their potential."
